ISS Courses

On average, there will be about 25 students in a course. As a result, interactive learning is a major characteristic of the new Business School. This ensures strong personal contact in the lectures and discussions. Students´ professional experience is integrated into the Program and actively utilised in the learning process. Professors and lecturers with an academic and practical background and excellent didactical and professional skills will ensure that the course content is delivered in the most effective way.

This type of delivery as well as highly-motivated, personally mature students guar-antee a level of efficiency rarely achieved in full-time Programs. The Program´s close links to business practice is fully guaranteed by its part-time structure and lecturers´ professional qualification. From 2009, all courses will be offered in English.

In each semester, students take 3–4 study modules at the ISS in Hamburg. Each study module lasts about 7–10 days. In the 2nd and 3rd semester there are 3 study modules at the partner University in Dublin. The daily workload, consisting of lectures and self-study, is about 8–10 hours.
