ISM Institute of Service Management

The ISS will establish an Institute of Service Management – a research and consulting institute which, as a centre of excellence, links professors and lecturers teaching at the ISS in interdisciplinary research teams.

These teams will carry out research funded by third parties, research and development related to practical business issues as well as commissioned research and training courses. ISS students will be involved in this research, especially within the context of their Master Thesis.

Another objective is to initiate international research projects with academics from other countries at the ISM. Research in the field of Service Management requires interdisciplinary thinking and, consequently, the integration of different subject areas.
